Welcome to Damil Dressage.
We are dedicated to training high quality dressage horses and taking them to compete at the highest level. At Damil Dressage we believe that first-class training and management, combined with a horse-friendly life and loving care, leads to happy and successful horses. Only with a happy horse will we be able to sustainably achieve our training goals and enjoy the training journey together. This means that all our horses can move freely in our meadows and paddocks every day, are simply allowed to be horses, and lead a sporting life that is as horse-friendly as possible. The foundation of our stallion station is also based on our philosophy.
Our training mentality
An important factor in our training mentality is time: we only train a limited number of horses, which gives us time for each individual horse. In doing so, we first try to learn as much as possible about each horse. We take into account the horse’s individual physical and psychological conditions and needs and adapt training and stable management accordingly. The goal is to find the key to each horse so that it can develop its full performance potential. The focus in training is always on systematic training according to classical riding theory, maintaining looseness and motivation. We are supported by the German U25 trainer Sebastian Heinze, who trains with us weekly at the Reetbachhof.
Working as a team
One key to our success is our a team. Over the years, we have taken particular care to build up the team working at our stable and are proud of the professional and caring people we have brought on board. We consider each of our horses to be unique and approach their training according to individual needs. With their own capabilities and characters, our horses are handled and trained with empathy. Our team is united in this philosophy.
Open communication with our clients
We are proud of the work we do with our clients. In our client relationships, we keep open communication channels at all times. Our clients’ trust is of the utmost importance to us and we take care of our clients’ horses like we do our own. The strong and long-term partnerships we have built are key and center to our continued joint success at Damil Dressage.

We had really nice days at the Trakehner Championships in Münster 😊
On Friday we made a really nice but a bit conservative test ending on third place 🥉 Was his first time outside home this year and as we expected he was really focused and behaving like a pro, this stallion just has the best character ever 🥰
On the final on Sunday we go for it taking a bit more of risk ending Vice champion with 8,4 🥈💪
