Exceptional Morricone son & premium stallion 2024

My Monet had many fans at his licensing in Münster-Handorf and was crowned premium stallion to much applause. His performance on the lunge line was particularly impressive with his outstanding quality of movement, great rhythm and elasticity. A compact, athletic and beautifully presented young stallion who is convincing in all three basic gaits. His conformation is characterised by an almost ideal neck and a beautiful face. He also has a stable, very correct foundation. But his interior also leaves nothing to be desired: with absolute naturalness and willingness to perform, he gives us a lot of pleasure at work and is very uncomplicated and lovable to handle. An exceptional young sire who combines fantastic movement potential, beauty and rideability.

Sire MORRICONE

Morricone was an Oldenburg champion stallion and can definitely be called the heir to the throne of Millenium, a stallion with a strong heredity. The Millenium offspring are all very strong in type and movement, but are not always known to have the necessary work ethic and strength of character. The offspring of Morricone far surpass the Millenium offspring in these criteria and are explicitly characterised as outstandingly rideable, uncomplicated and friendly horses. Morricone passes on these traits through the rideability sires Rubin Royal and De Niro, as well as great type and willingness to perform. He is considered one of the strongest sires of our time and has been highly successful in sport for years, in addition to his breeding career. In 2024, he won several youngster Grand Prix competitions under Moritz Treffinger with scores of up to almost 75% and is on his way to the big sport. His offspring are also impressive in both sport and breeding: even at a young age, he can point to more than 30 S-successful offspring, several Bundeschampions, top elite auction horses, numerous premium mares and 23 licensed sons. A record worthy of a stamp stallion.

Dam line

The dam’s sire Fantastic was a wonderful sport horse maker who was highly successful in sport himself. Right at the beginning of his career, in his 30-day test, he scored points with his outstanding rideability and willingness to perform. Fantastic also possessed three outstanding basic gaits, with his trot standing out in particular. He qualified for the Bundeschampionat at the age of six and won his first advanced (S) level dressage tests at the age of seven. He certainly passed on his quality of movement, elasticity and attitude to My Monet. My Monet’s other sires, San Amour I and Weltmeyer, have written breeding history. They are without doubt among the best sires in the world and were also highly successful in sport themselves. The full brother to the second dam, Stormy River by San Amour x Weltmeyer, was internationally successful up to S*** level in the USA. The Hanoverian mare line of Weise has produced further licensed sons and several offspring who were successful in dressage competitions from St. Georg to S**, such as Sir Lancelot by Sarkozy, Laurent by Lauries Crusador xx, Satyr by Steward xx and Lemon Prince by Lemon Park. The line also produced several successful show jumpers up to 1.40m (Priamo, Wheeler and Golden Cyndi).
